An old scrapbook found in a San Francisco dumpster.
An enigmatic pyramid that presides over a small town outside Seattle.
And a story too implausible to have been fabricated.

Jason Webley and Chicken John Rinaldi present “Margaret”—an evening of music and story based on the life and writings of Margaret Rucker, a poet whose tragic yet serendipitous story was rescued twenty years ago from the bottom of a garbage bin.

This one-time only show at the Castro Theatre features performances by Webley, Rinaldi, Eliza Rickman, Jherek Bischoff, Led to Sea, Shenandoah Davis, Lonesome Leash, Mts. & Tunnels, and more.

There’s no such thing as garbage.

OK, so that's the synopsis. The fact is that you guys all donated to that kickstarter what started out as a recording project turned into a CD, a Book and a Tour. It all kinda happened really fast.

If you have forgotten, this is what you guys did:

What started out as a humble goal of $11,111 to make some recordings and an extended lyric sheet has become something much bigger now.

The story of the scrapbook is best told by reading the book, of course. But the best way to hear the music is to see it live. Or course. Here are our tour dates:

Dec 12 - Seattle - Moore Theater
Dec 18 - Portland - Wonder Ballroom
Dec 19 - Eugene - Wow Hall
Dec 20 - San Francisco - Castro Theater
Dec 21 - Los Angeles - Bootleg Theater
